Causes of the Limited Glory (Micah 1-3)

"I will again bring a conqueror to you, inhabitants of Mareshah; the glory of Israel shall come to Adullam."

Israel is God's children, and now the glory of Israel had to be hidden in the Adullam. Why did their glory had to disperse into Adullam? It is a place where David went to when he was expelled from the court of King Saul to be gathered together in distress, this cave is told to be large enough to hold 200-300 men. Some would go there to be gathered together in distress, or in debt, or when everyone was discontented. Because King Saul was jealous of David, he had to escape to the cave of Adullam to hid himself, so his association was limited to 200-300 men just like how God limited the glory of Israel.

But what had caused that kind of limitation?

The jealousy of King Saul caused the glory of David to be limited. Just like how the jealousy of God may cause our glory to be limited when we began to take our pride in stride as we forgot all about Him! When we die to ourselves as in decreasing ourselves, God will increase us.

"God has occasionally left me without the ink of the anointing, and I have had to scrape and scratch to leave any impression upon my hearers. Past experiences have made me desperate for the anointing. If I don't agonize in prayer, I agonize in preaching - and the congregation isn't too far behind. What then is meant by "anointed preaching"? I believe it means preaching that God sees fit to bless; preaching that produces true penitence in the heart of the sinner." -Ray Comfort

I love this quote, it shows us that God is the only one who have that authority to bless those certain people He wanted to bless through our preaching, writing, blogging, twittering, or even chatting! But it is our responsibility to keep the Spirit flowing (our anointing from Him) through us to certain people He wants to flow by praying.

"Watch and be on alert for people who will try to take advantage of you. They will be motivated by selfishness and a sense of desperation without regard for your rights, space or boundaries. You must stand your ground and not be afraid to say NO; not just from a position of self-perservation, but because your real need is to stay in the flow of My Spirit and to respond only to My leading, says the Lord. Obedience is the key. Be strong and resolute." -Marsha Burns

Pray: Father, may You show us all how to follow Your leading so that we may remain in Your anointing as You choose to bless the others through us. We need the wisdom to discern what's invading our spaces and boundaries and learn to remove them or say NO to those intended or innocence intruders. And please show us if we are also invading the others' spaces and boundaries as their Christian sister/brother, preventing them from responding to Your leading. We acknowledge our human errors. Thank You for taking care of us faithfully, Lord! And for faithfully forgiving us. In Jesus' name, we Agree!

YA'LL ROCK for praying this!
