Store Up Your Healthy Fat (Ps 9-10)

"I will recount all of Your wonderful deeds... that I may recount all Your praises."

After Paul's radical obedience, he went into the prison with Silas. But they stored up their healthy spiritual fats that they are able to pray and sing hymns to God. Then the earthquake came to shake and the prison gates came wide-open! After three tragedies, Job recalled that he came naked from his mother's womb and God filled him with those blessings. So with the healthy spiritual fats, he arose and tore his robe and shaved his head to fell down to worship God.

Those people store up their healthy spiritual fat within their circumcized hearts, so they were able to outlast many people! Creating a habit of listing what we are grateful for daily before the day begins may be a great idea. Job would rise early in the mornings to offer burnt offerings for the numbers of his children continually in order to cover his children's sins if they would sin. When he continually rise early in the mornings to recall God's blessing he is storing up the healthy spiritual fats.

What do we recall in the mornings, in the evenings, and in the nights? Are we storing up our healthy spiritual fats or unhealthy spiritual fats in our heart? If we are storing up our unhealthy ones, then let us fight in our 'Battlefield of the Mind' (Joyce Meyer).
