The song was shared. I believed in it. I held it close. Moses smiled. The story was retold through a song. Of a breakthrough and of a miracle. Israel was dishonored, trapped between the abuser and the ocean. But they saw with their natural eyes. They didn't see. They were going to give up. Their thoughts were limited. Even Moses.
They all didn't see it coming, but Moses believed that God shall deliver us. Thus God revealed His plan through Moses. God whispered to Moses, "lift up your staff". The ocean parted, opening the way to His promise. His grace gave them hope. They come.
Oceans will part nations come
At the whisper of Your call
Hope will rise glory shown
In my life Your will be done
God didn't part the oceans when we are not trapped. The enemies were not being destroyed until we were trapped. And the miracles occured before we were trapped. The pillar of cloud and fire guided us through the day and the night. Then it went behind us to tarry the enemies until we get closer to the trap.
Things may keep getting worse in our natural eyes. We may have a relationship problem, a health problem, an addiction problem or even a financial problem. Remember to keep your eyes on our unseen God and believe that with God all things will get better. That the oceans will part.
