Share Our Closet

In our own closet, we may be naked before God. We may dance. We may kneel. Or we may lay prostrate. But in the Church, we sang together in unison. We hold our hands in prayer. We sat to absorb the Words from our preacher. Yet there is a gap between the tiny closet and the bigger Closet.

Paul taught us that we are to be crazy within our little closet. We may wave our hands, crawl all over, or even allow our body parts to move freely in our expression toward God. Paul encouraged us to be decent within the bigger Closet. We share His words to edify one another, pray together to ignite our spirit, or greet one another to form smiles. Yet there is a gap between the tiny closet and the bigger Closet.

Interestingly, Paul also taught us at I Corinthians 14 that our tiny closet are to be shared with unbelievers, "tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers". When our bigger Closet are to be shared with believers, "while prophecy is a sign not for unbelievers but for believers." Don't listen to my comments above. I think I am in an error. But I got to explore into the Words. An idiot is called to be an idioter.

Am I going to invite an unbeliever into my closet? Well, I am willingly to try. If so, then it may be a sucidial attempt. It is just a thought. Thinking without an action.

But we think deeper into His words. We discovered that we are to be matured in our thoughts. Thus, the next verse says that we are to invite unbelievers into our bigger Closet not our tiny closet because they would think we are out of our mind if we crawled and screamed all over the place. Thus no suicidal attempt is needed.

Yet there is a gap between the tiny closet and the bigger Closet. If an unbeliever entered the bigger Closet and received the Christ, then are we here to fill the gap? Yes. What's the gap that we needed to fill? Discipleship-making. How may we disciple a new believer? Take them slowly into our circles, then into our lives, and then into our tiny closet. Take them toward the mountain-top with our mantles on, without killing them.
