Guard His Calling (Num 17-18)

"The tribe of Levi... they shall join you and keep guard over the tent of meeting for all the service of the tent, and no outsider shall come near you."

"And you [Aaron] and your sons with you shall guard your priesthood for all that concerns the altar and that is within the veil; and you shall serve."

He called us all to guard His callings 24/7, to let Him be glorified. Maybe some of us are like the tribe of Levi, we got to guard our spiritual leader that He appointed to feed the others. We guard our spiritual leaders today by our intercession, by the words of encouragement from Him (prophecies), or by our actions. The Levites set their tent in the east facing the sunrise, so that they may guard their spiritual leaders who serve the Lord in the tent of meeting the first thing in the morning. They remained alert to any spiritual attacks in the spiritual warfare and are the first ones to fight against those evil spirits to protect their spiritual leaders and the Israel. It's an honor for us to become the ones who will fight in the spiritual warfare, "to plow the ground".

He called the spiritual leaders who are called to Him, to be with Him and hear Him firsthand so that they can care for their people. There are several different elevation of the mountain. For us who are in the lower part, we will draw the people to the higher level and they will draw those people to the mountaintop. But we are all viewed the same by our God because God judges us by our heart, by our willingness to serve and not be glorified by the people.
