"Take the staff, and assemble the congregation, you and Aaron your brother, and tell the rock before their eyes to yield its water. So you shall bring water out of the rock for them and give drink to the congregation and their cattle."
Like the people of Israel, we all need to drink the healing water daily. Moses and Aaron were called to bring water out of the rock for the people. So they went and Moses struck the rock in obedience to bring the healing water to the people. God want us all to take a step to bring the healing water to our people, to each other. We are hurting daily, we need to be healed daily. If we won't get any water on any day, then we will find that our urine had turned yellow. In the same way, if we don't get any healing water, then whatever comes out of our mouth may be a bit yellow (defiled). "Whatever comes in your mouth doesn't defile you, but whatever comes out of your mouth is what defiled you." We got to take care of ourselves first by letting Him to heal us through His spiritual leaders, so that whatever comes out of us will be pure.
'And Moses lifted up his hand and stuck the rock with his staff twice, and water came out abundantly... and the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you didn't believe in me, to uphold me as holy in the eyes of the people of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I had given them."'
Although Moses and Aaron didn't do the right thing at the moment, but God allowed the healing water to flow to us. The people of Israel doesn't need to do anything, but to receive the healing water and allow God to take care of His business! He will bless and rebuke His anointed people Himself. All we need to do is to go and receive the healing water!
