Being Appointed to a Specific Task (Num 4-5)

"But deal thus with them, that they may live and not die when they come near to the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in and appoint them each to his task and to his burden, but they shall not go in to look on the holy things even for a moment, lest they die."

Aaron and his sons are appointed to be the high priests, in another word, they are anointed by Him to perform these things. In the same way, our leading pastors are anointed by Him to handle the church's visions and decisions along with the accountability. Aaron and his sons need to cover the ark of the testimony and deal with Kohathites by assigning them to specific duties that they will be prepared for so that they won't die. In the same way, our leading pastors are anointed to hold the visions and decisions until they are ready to be revealed to the congregation smoothly through the preparation. They also deal with us properly by delegating us to the specific positions that won't over-burden us, causing us to "die" with the overload or with the wrong type of duty assigned to us according to our gifts.

We must be careful to heed to His voice so that He may put us under the right umbrella under those anointed leaders. So we won't have to worry about being misused by them because God will deal with the anointed leaders like how God dealt with Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. When we are under the right umbrella, then we will grow properly under their leadership as we let them take the lead.
