Turn a Curse into a Blessing! (Numbers 21-24)

Three times Balak asked Balaam to curse Israel, but the Lord put a blessing into Balaam's mouth and Balaam blessed Israel! Balaam told Balak that even the wealth couldn't make him "to go beyond the word of the Lord, to do either good or bad of my own will."

It is amazing how God controlled Balaam's mouth! God's covering is already upon Israel, so no one can turn the blessing into a curse when God's covering is upon His people! In the same way, no one can turn our blessings into a curse as long as we are under His covering! Balak thinks that he can find a witchcraft who will curse Israel for Barak's kingdom because he knew that God is upon Israel's side. So he hoped that Balaam will curse Israel for him because he is powerless. But what he didn't know is that no one has the power above God!

In fact there is no type of witchcraft out there, any spells, voodoo, or magical powers, that can stop us when God is covering us! John Bevere shared one story about a girl who is an active witchcraft in his book, "Fear of the Lord". It is amazing how she came to a youth pastor to tell him that she couldn't put a spell upon a Christian, while she could put a spell upon the others, she didn't understand why. But she recognized that God is a true God after this and came to the Lord.

We are all under His protection, His blessings! No one can turn our blessings into a curse when we stay in our obedience to Him.
